LmunA is an annually held youth conference that simulates the United Nations. Students from all over the world to join this event. Each participant is a delegate of a beforehand assigned country in one of the various committees. The debate issues concern human rights, disarmament, environment and politics and aim at seeking solutions to current problems in today’s world. The spoken language at the conference is English.
Being a relatively small conference, all delegates are offered the possibility to participate actively in the debates. LmunA pays special attention to beginning delegates with little to no experience. In a safe and friendly environment, students are guided in taking their first steps as a delegate. The numerous workshops familiarize new delegates with the practices and procedures of a MUN. The workshops are mandatory and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere.
Students learn how to debate, socialize, lobby , interact, network and work on their critical thinking skills throughout the conference.
